Reverse witnessing!
by jacethespace insince leaving the watchtower and getting out from under its mind control my life has started to take off better than ever before.. ive got a great job im happy with.
started dating normal people again.
and i just have more time to take intrest in family and freinds and other things in life.. which is why my best revenge is to show how happy i am to my ex congregation members whenever i see them.i like to see what there reaction is.. today i was travelling home from work and was in the greatest mood ever so when i saw one of my ex congs associates- mel it made my day.. she came and waited for the bus in the queue at first she seemed to avoid looking at me even when i waved at her she looked away so i was determind to wait for her in the queue.. so i was like "hi mel ".

Had one just the other day! Made like nothing's changed...I friendly, he friendly, talked about everything under the sun, except the Witlesses - no problem! Just talked like two friends normally would...maybe mentally he's out already as well...too bad you can't exactly ask that straight out or I might have! None of the 'where you been', 'when you coming back to the hall?', 'we miss you' or the 'end is so near, I can smell it!' stuff....absolutely REFRESHING! Maybe he's no longer going either.... I wouldn't even know....

Not exactly born in, but still a child...made to feel VERY privileged that we, of all people on this earth, had a direct pipeline to what God REQUIRED of us and again, only we, of all people on earth, were IN LINE to SURVIVE the impending holocaust called ARMAGEDDON - vividly remember the examples of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego not capitulating when facing persecution...so actually felt CHOSEN - I wonder what kind of persecution complex people have to have already latent in order to latch on to this kind of 'religion' when it comes knocking on the door...anyhow, 40+ years later, GLAD TO SEE THE LIGHT!
I am so encouraged by this most recent influx of newbies; I hope the tide is turning and more and more are waking up and becoming EX JW's, surviving to tell the tale!

New Aussie craze KRISPY KREME doughnuts --What is in them? WHY?
by Witness 007 inpeople are driving for miles to the few shops that have opened....many pioneers leave there own congregation territory to buy some 1 hour drive away....i took a box to my witness work mates...they acted like i was giving them gold!
poor witnesses.
they do taste excellent fresh....coffee shops like "starbucks" never took off here....were not big on coffee.

I think you can see what's in them on the side of the box - there's about 48 or so different ingredients, most of them chemical...softeners and dough conditioners, etc and etc.; maybe even trans fats. They were all the rage around here as well, but they've all closed down permanently...once you know what's in them and how they clog up your arteries, your taste for them vanishes quickly enough!
Anyhow, I think there is a Krispy Kreme calendar on the net somewhere with one girl for each month - each woman is between 300 and 500 pounds - quite the sight - I'll see if I can find the link if it's still around....

Disfellowshipped for Beavis and Butthead
by donny ina friend (who no longer attends meetings) told me about an incident about seven years ago in north carline involving one of her male friends.
this friend has ceased believing the society's diatribe for some time and was only staying in it in order to associate with friends and family.
he had visited a friend in a town about 30 miles away and heard a sunday talk from one of that congregations elders.

Solid Non-Biblical Proof That Jesus Existed
by White Dove ini have not heard of one single (non-shroud of turin) piece of evidence that jesus ever walked the earth.
please give me non-biblical and non-shroud of turin evidence that has been found that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the jesus of the bible walked the earth.. is that too much to ask?
the bible says it happened but gives no proof to support its statements.. the shroud of turin has not been established as proof of anything beyond a good wax and dye job.. .
